In recognition of our 52nd year of operation, the Central Florida Railway Historical Society will host special events on Saturday, November 26th. Activities include a downtown walking tour highlighting the history of Winter Garden railroads, special presentation, a book signing and more.

About the event
In recognition of our 52nd year of operation, the Central Florida Railway Historical Society will host special events on Saturday, November 26th.
A 1-mile downtown walking tour that discusses the railroad history along Plant Street and the surrounding area. The tour begins at 8:30am at the museum. No registration required.
Authors Rick Cronin and Phil cross will be signing copies of their new book, 'The Tavares and Gulf Railroad Legacy: A World Class Museum' which the Society recently published. Copies are $25 and all proceeds benefit the Society.
Rick Cronin will present four, 15-minute presentations during the day:
11:15 - Winter Garden's Orange Belt Railway
12:15 - Winter Garden's Tavares & Gulf Railroad
1:15 - How our Railroad Museum Came To Be
2:15 - Two Trains - Two Depots - Two Museums
The museum will be open from 9:00am until 3:00pm during our Open House.
