About the event
Our new exhibit, Dining in Style: The Golden Age of the Railroad Dining Car opens on February 6th, and runs through August 3rd. This free exhibit recalls the refined luxury that travelers experienced from the late 1930’s through the 1960’s during the golden age of railroad passenger trains.
Travel back to a time when meals were prepared from scratch, served on china dining plates, and savored by guests aboard a streamlined train destined for the Sunshine State. The exhibit is open during museum hours of 11:00am to 3:00pm, Tuesday through Saturday. We are closed on major holidays including July 4th.
