About the event

Winter Garden and West Orange County was one of the largest citrus producing areas in the country, and most of the citrus grown and packed here left by one of the railroads serving the region. Central Florida Railway Historical Society Historian Phil Cross shares the history of a few of the dozens of citrus and vegetable packing houses, and their colorful crate labels in this presentation at our October Combined Board and Member Meeting. A brief business meeting will begin at 7:00pm, followed immediately by the presentation. Visitors are invited to attend, no registration required.
